Japan Passport
This features a new take on a passport in another country. For this design, it is a redesign of Japan’s passport.
The flower in the middle of the passport cover represents a cherry blossom. Cherry blossoms are the national flower in Japan. They can also mean sakura or the flower of trees. I chose to make this design because it would be a great way to connect the passport to a national subject that connects residents in Japan. The majority of Asia cultures are collectivist societies, where they revolve around communities. This is a way to bring people together. In addition, the cherry blossoms are a very used symbolism of peace and community in many Japanese media and literature, including TV shows, books, and anime.
